Directions to APG

To the Maryland Blvd (MD-715) Gate & APG Visitor Center (Open 24/7):

  • From Baltimore:
    • Take I-95 North to Exit 80
    • Right on MD-543 South for 1.5 miles
    • Right on US-40 East for 3 miles
    • Right on MD-715 East for 1 mile to APG
  • From Delaware:
    • Take I-95 South to Exit 85
    • Left on MD-22 East for 2 miles
    • Right on US-40 West for 2 miles
    • Right on MD-715 East for 1 mile to APG

To the Harford Blvd (MD-22) Gate (Open Weekdays 0500-1900 less holidays):

  • From Baltimore:
    • Take I-95 North to Exit 85
    • Right on MD-22 East for 3 miles to APG
  • From Delaware:
    • Take I-95 South to Exit 85
    • Left onto MD-22 East for 3 miles to APG

Access to APG

Visitors WITH a Government ID can enter APG using either the MD-22 or the MD-715 Gate. Show the guard your ID as you enter.

Visitors WITHOUT a Government ID must enter APG using the MD-715 Gate. These visitors will need to sign in each day at the Visitor Center, located off MD-715. They must then backtrack to MD-715 and continue towards the gate. To obtain a vehicle security pass, provide driver's license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance.

Visitors WITHOUT a Government ID in the same vehicle as a visitor WITH a Government ID can enter at either gate with a valid photo ID.


AMSAA Security Information

AMSAA JPAS SMO: W3JCAA

U.S. visitors should contact their AMSAA POC at least two business days prior to their arrival.

Foreign visitors should contact their AMSAA POC at least 30 days prior to their arrival.

The use of Personal Electronic Devices (PEDs) may be prohibited in specific areas of APG and AMSAA. The AMSAA POC can inform you of these restrictions.

The possession and/or use of photographic and/or recording equipment of any kind is strictly forbidden without prior authorization from the AMSAA Security Office.
